On contrary to popular belief, high heels are fragile. They can easily break and wear out especially if your wear them too often. Keeping them in mint condition can be done in several ways. Over the years, I have accumulated many ways on how to keep min in perfect shape for a very long time and hopefully yours too. Here’s what I did:
I got a special coating of rubber on the soles of my shoes. They work best by keeping the original soles in perfect condition while the rubber coating is all that’s wearing out. The rubber coating also works as a shock absorber. It’s soft enough to make the shoes more comfortable to wear.
Do you often hear a screeching sound when you walk on your heels? Maybe the tip of your heels are worn out. I constantly have mine replaced whenever the metal portion starts to stick out. I usually have my cobbler do it. It costs less but the frequency of me having them repaired is kind of a bit costly. However, they do maintain my shoes though.
Clean your shoes as often as possible. I do mine once I get home. I usually have my cleaning kit placed near my shoe rack so I don’t forget. It’s a habit of mine that got me collecting more and more shoes and throwing out none.
